Website maintenance: what you buy when nothing happens!
A maintenance contract feels like paying for nothing, for exactly as long as nothing goes wrong. What you are buying is that nothing goes wrong: updates done on time, backups that have been tested, and someone noticing before your customers do.
A site left untouched for two years is not a stable site. It is a site with two years of open security holes, which goes down on a Tuesday morning at the moment you have the least time for it.
What it costs per month!
Excluding VAT, cancellable monthly. Hosting is always included; we do not bill it separately.

What happens every month!
You never see most of the work. Updates run on a copy first and only then go live, so a broken plugin cannot take your site down with it. Backups are not only made but also restored, because a backup you have never tested is a hunch.
Once a quarter we look at load time and error logs and send a short email: this was open, this is fixed, this is what to watch.
- Updates tested on a copy
- Backups that have been restored
- Ssl certificate renewed on time
- Uptime watched, day and night
- Error logs followed up
- A short quarterly report
Questions about maintenance!
When did your site last run an update?
If you do not know, the answer is usually too long ago. One inspection is enough to know how bad it is.
