Bookplace2.be
A book blog with its own content model for books, authors and genres: 300+ reviews, 23 genres and five years of reading pleasure from Yana, with star ratings, genre filters and a built-in newsletter.

The challenge
Our approach
Each review got a star rating from one to five, a short intro and the full write-up, with a search bar at the top to find a title quickly. The site is built around a recognisable purple house style, a fixed sidebar to Books, Blog and Reviewers, and a newsletter widget so readers get notified of a new review. Behind the scenes, SEO gives every book, author and genre page its own findable sitemap entry.
The result
- website with its own content model for books, authors and genres
- Review system with star ratings
- Filterable genre overview and search
- Blog section alongside the book reviews
- Newsletter sign-up
- SEO optimisation, including sitemaps per content type
