branding

Having a logo designed that lasts you twenty years!

A logo has to work on a five-metre van and as a forty-pixel profile picture. It has to be legible in one colour on an invoice, embroidered on workwear, and recognisable when someone driving past looks at it for half a second.

That is less a matter of taste than people think. It is a matter of shape, contrast and leaving things out.

How it goes

From conversation to files!

01

Asking

An hour on your business, your customers and the competitor you never want to resemble. Shape and colour follow from that, not from a list of trends.

02

Sketching

We draw broadly and in black and white. Colour hides for too long that a shape is not strong enough.

03

Choosing

You are shown two or three worked-out directions, with an explanation of why each suits you. One of them we finish completely.

04

Delivering

Every format, every colour variant, plus a sheet with the rules. From then on any printer and any photographer can work with it.

Deliverables

What is in your folder!

A logo is not one file. You need a version that scales up without blurring, a version you can paste into a word processor, a version for dark backgrounds and a version reduced to a forty-pixel square.

You get all of them, sorted, with a readable name per file. Plus the source files: your logo is yours, including if you continue with someone else later.

  • Vector files for print
  • Pngs with and without a background
  • A one-colour and a reversed variant
  • Favicon and profile pictures
  • Colour codes for screen and print
  • Source files and usage rights
